RCSI Dubai Unveil Third Inspiring Excellence Portrait

In recognition of alumni who are making a difference in healthcare across the UAE, as part of the November 2018 Conferring Ceremony, RCSI Dubai unveiled the recipient of its third Inspiring Excellence Alumni portrait.

Joining last year's honourees - Dr Mohammad Al Redha, RCSI, Medicine, 2003 and RCSI Dubai, MSc 2007 and Shaikha Dr Alia Humaid Al Qassimi, RCSI Dubai, MSc 2008 - this year's honouree was unveiled as MSc 2007 graduate, Dr Amer Ahmad Sharif, Chief Executive Officer, Dubai Healthcare City Authority - Education Sector and Vice Chancellor, Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences.

At the unveiling Professor Ciaran O'Boyle, Direcot of the Insitutute of Leadership said, "With more than 14 years of senior management experience across key UAE government healthcare authorities and academic institutions, Dr Sharif has been pivotal in steering MBRU since its inception and instrumental in raising the profile of MBRU through its academic programs and affiliations. His desire and drive for excellence has established and strengthened collaborations with leading academic institutions locally and internationally."

Dr Amer's portrait will now join last year's honourees on display in the head office of RCSI Dubai.
