Career development

Real success begins with the end in mind. Let’s work with you to develop your plan today.

As a specialised healthcare institution, the CoMPPAS career development team is focused on assisting students in identifying, mapping and actioning their pathway into their future healthcare career.

It begins with you

The individual is at the heart of career development. It is expected you will acquire the core knowledge and clinical skills to the highest possible standard during your time at RCSI. But what will set you apart from other healthcare graduates? What will make the difference later when it comes to your career advancement? Do you know where you want to go and how to get there?

Our service mission is focused on helping you identify your career goals and acquire the skills, knowledge and capabilities you need to manage your career progression throughout life that will enable you to respond, plan and take advantage of the opportunities that will be available to you in the future in an ever evolving global healthcare sector and economy. New industries, new occupations, new education and new skills requirements require a flexible and strategic approach to career planning.

We work in partnership with RCSI staff and a wide range of organisations to achieve this.

Start your career today
