Turning left off the Entrance Hall is the Robert Smith Room, named after Robert William Smith, a prominent Surgeon whose name is given to a particular type of wrist fracture known as the Smith's Fracture.
A fine dining table and chairs dominates this bright elegant room, whose window overlooks St. Stephen's Green. The room also features many fine examples of silverware, presented to the College and also includes a portrait and bust of Robert Smith.
This fine room has recently been restored to its former glory and is used for many small banquets and official events.
