Surgeons in Practice
Through the office of the Managing Director of Surgical Affairs, the College acts as an advisory body in Ireland on matters relating to surgical practice.
The College provides support for surgeons in practice through its publications and surgical guidelines. The College maintains a close collaboration with the sister Surgical Royal Colleges in the UK and is represented at the various intercollegiate Specialist Advisory Committees (SAC) and Boards (ISB).
