Student Life
Going to College means much more than just attending classes. Student life is an important and vibrant aspect of the RCSI experience, and students get just as much satisfaction from their social and cultural activities as from their studies.
Here is a brief overview of what Student Life at RCSI is all about…
-
The student body at RCSI is truly multicultural, with students from Ireland, Europe, Scandinavia, North America, the Middle East, Australia, Africa and Asia. This international environment is a key factor in the personal and cultural development of each individual student. It creates a vibrant context in which to study and learn and presents students with a unique opportunity to make new friends for life from all around the world.
-
The Student Services Office plays an important part in the educational experience of RCSI students. Student needs reach beyond the lecture theatre and, as a result, we are committed to enhancing the student experience by offering a range of services in addition to supporting social and sporting activities. The office manages all non-academic support services, including Access & Disability, Accommodation, Orientation, Counselling, Chaplaincy, and much more besides.
-
RCSI has a large number of societies and sports clubs from which to choose. These societies and clubs cater for virtually all interests and tastes. Joining a society or club works on a number of levels - you get to meet like-minded people and make life-long friends, while also gaining useful skills and experience.
