This NMBI Decision Letter must be in-date when you present for the MCQ/Theory part of the Aptitude Test. The onus is on you, the applicant, to ensure compliance with these NMBI requirements. This is a matter between you and the NMBI. Failure to comply with these NMBI requirements may cause issues/delays in finalising your application for registration with the NMBI.

Documents to be brought in paper format to the MCQ/Theory Test

  • Candidate Certificate of Registration (CRC) from the NMBI: this must reference the RCSI Aptitude Test. The CRC must be in-date for the duration of the Aptitude Test. This means both MCQ and OSCE's for the first and second attempt, if required. The onus is on you, the applicant, to ensure that all details on the CRC are accurate. The CRC must be in paper format: either original or a clear photocopy (colour or black & white). An electronic version of the CRC is not acceptable. Failure to comply with requirements regarding the CRC may cause issues/delays in finalising your application for registration with the NMBI.
  • Passport/Offical ID: Your passport/Official ID will be checked and handed back to you. However, if you do not bring your passport/Official ID you will not be allowed entry to the Theory Test but your name will be added to the list for the next Theory Test.
