The School of Pharmacy in RCSI is one of the best places for teaching pharmacy to students. I am really grateful that I seized this opportunity and chose RCSI to study pharmacy. The facilities are well-equipped and the lecturers have excellent lecturing methods.

I also had the chance to make friends from different countries worldwide. Each year pharmacy events are held to give first year students a chance to meet with upper year students, which has made the experience hugely enjoyable. I recommend to all who wish to study pharmacy to choose RCSI as their destination.

Where do I begin? RCSI's School of Pharmacy is truly a first-class education. Our lecturers are so passionate about what they teach, and I find myself constantly inspired by them and their work ethic.

The material in each module is always up-to-date, and the labs and lecture halls are comfortable to be in ... I can truly say that the amount of knowledge I have gained is exceptional.

I came to RCSI for the education but what I got were priceless lessons in all aspects of life, friends, confidence and passion, not to mention the integrated pharmacy programme that made me think about the profession in a whole new light. In a foreign country with a completely different environment, I did not know what to expect but the multicultural community and the amazing support of the staff was extremely reassuring.

RCSI emphasise greatly on teamwork between the different professions; pharmacy, medicine and physiotherapy. We are taught to work together as a team to build confidence and trust between us which is an amazing quality we get to acquire early in our careers. RCSI also constantly seeks our feedback regarding any issues or difficulties we are having to have extremely efficient tailored programs for both the students and the staff to benefit from. In summary my experience in RCSI so far is full of unforgettable life-long memories that I will cherish forever.

I have to say that I am really enjoying my time here at the RCSI. The College has provided me with the best educational experience ever! Such as lectures notes, practicals and tutorials.

Apart from the academic side, the college has always been caring for us as students by assigning a personal tutor to each student, listening to our concerns and suggestions, basically being a student in the RCSI is not just about revising your lecture notes it also includes inter-mingling and communicating with the other students from diverse cultures. The college gatherings and occasions throughout the year are unconventionally beautiful and enjoyable, I have to admit that the wide range of societies here is extremely amazing. All in all, I firmly believe that I have made the right decision for my future career.

My journey through RCSI has been nothing short of phenomenal. The multicultural student body as well as the chance to share modules with students of other health disciplines truly enhance the learning experience. The extensive diversity of roles available to pharmacists is deeply embedded in the RCSI course through placements, research opportunities and lectures from pharmacists working in different settings.

On graduation I rotated through various clinical specialities in hospital pharmacy. I have since moved to the regulatory environment where pharmacists can contribute to the protection of public health through the evaluation of medicines before they can be manufactured and marketed ... What made my time special in RCSI goes back not only to the excellent education I received but also to the camaraderie and the opportunities the School of Pharmacy has offered me. I cannot recommend RCSI more highly to anyone considering to study pharmacy.
