Dr ÉimhÍn Ansbro is Research Fellow in Noncommunicable Diseases in Humanitarian Settings at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

She graduated in Medicine from Trinity College Dublin, worked in hospital medicine in New Zealand and, later, completed GP vocational training with the TCD/HSE General Practice Training Programme.

She received a Masters in International Health and Tropical Medicine and the DTM&H from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2012. Since then, she has combined GP and travel medicine in Ireland with working on malnutrition and noncommunicable disease programmes with Médecins Sans Frontières in India, Jordan and the DRC.

Her current research post focuses on the evaluation of noncommunicable disease programming delivered by MSF in humanitarian settings.
