Current position: Professor and Head of Molecular & Cellular Therapeutics

Biography:    Professor Tracy Robson obtained her PhD in Molecular Radiation Science from Imperial College, London (1996). She joined Queens University Belfast in 2004 as Reader in Molecular Pharmacology and was appointed Professor of Experimental Therapeutics in 2010. She joined RCSI as Professor and Head of Molecular & Cellular Therapeutics (MCT) in August 2016.

Teaching:   Professor Robson teaches Biochemistry, Genetics and Cellular and Cancer Biology in integrated courses in the Direct and Graduate Entry Medicine Programmes and in the School of Pharmacy. These subjects are taught based on the clinical application of basic science and are organised into modules based around the systems of the body (cardiovascular, respiratory, etc.).
