Diarmaid Semple graduated from The University of Dublin, Trinity College with a BSc. Pharm (Hons) in 2009. He undertook his MPharm at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2010, carrying out his pre-registration training year at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. Diarmaid worked briefly in community pharmacy before taking up his current role in Our Lady's Children's Hospital, Crumlin. He has a special interest in paediatric cardiology, and is currently one of the clinical pharmacists in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. He is an active member of the Neonatal and Paediatric Pharmacist through which has been involved in the development of Patient Medication Information Leaflets for the UK Medicines for Children Project.
