Biography
Kara graduated with an honours BSc in Chemistry at UCD before completing a BSc. in Pharmacy (1st class) from the School of Pharmacy, RCSI in 2008. After completing her preregistration year at Our Lady's Children's Hospital Crumlin, she gained experience in paediatric cardiology, neurology and neonatology before she was appointed as Cystic Fibrosis pharmacist at OLCHC. In 2014, she completed an MSc in Clinical pharmacy from Robert Gordon University Aberdeen and continues to work in the area of Cystic Fibrosis while regularly contributing to paediatric education of undergraduates at RCSI.
