Biography
Keira Hall graduated from the University of Bradford in 2003 (MPharmS). She practiced as a clinical pharmacist in Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and completed a two year residency period in which she completed a post graduate diploma in Clinical Pharmacy (Hospital). Following this, she held positions as senior pharmacist in Mental Health/Respiratory before moving into the role of Lead Haemato-oncology Pharmacist for the hospital. This role was developed to incorporate a Prescribing role in the area of iron replacement and iron chelating agents.
For a period of 3 years, Keira also had the additional role of Lead Clinician for the Chemotherapy Service at Barnsley Hospital Foundation Trust and successfully lead the hospital through the Cancer peer review process for Chemotherapy.
In 2012, Keira moved to Ireland to take up the position of Senior Oncology Pharmacist at the Beacon Hospital. She is now the Lead Clinical Pharmacist at the Beacon and is responsible for education and training of a team of clinical pharmacists, policy provision and clinical wards services.
