Dr. Tevi Troy, the U.S. Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Services, paid an official visit to the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) today. He was accompanied by Ms. Linda Hoffman and Ms. Jane Coury, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services; Mr. Robert Faucher, Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Ireland; Ms. Sheila Paskman, Public Affairs Officer the US Embassy in Ireland and Mr. Dwight Nystrom, Economic Officer, the U.S. Embassy in Ireland .

During the visit, the delegation met with senior officials at RCSI including Professor Gerald O'Sullivan, President of RCSI; Dr. Terry McWade, Deputy CEO of RCSI and Mr. Fintan Foy, Associate Director of Academic Affairs, RCSI. Dr. Troy also met with a number of RCSI students, where he received feedback on a number of issues including Electronic Medical Records and Quality Driven Healthcare.
