Wednesday, March 21st 2007 – RCSI Celebrates Cultural Diversity at International Fortnight 2007 International night was held in Vicar Street as part of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI)’s 2007 International Fortnight. Students in traditional dress performed entertaining acts from around the world at this popular annual event. International fortnight will run from Monday 20th March to Friday 30th March and aims to increase cultural awareness in an informal and enjoyable environment with a programme of events that includes sports day, acoustic night and RCSI's own unique version of "Strictly Come Dancing". The fortnight will culminate in the international gourmet evening on Friday, 30th March where students will showcase dishes from around the world of international cuisine. With a long history of educating international students, RCSI proudly promotes the wide range of national, cultural and social backgrounds found at the College.
