RCSI Institute of Leadership Graduate wins award for nurse facilitated patient discharge study

Ms Liz Touhy, MSc Leadership and Management Development Graduate 2011, received the award for "Best First Oral Presenter" for her presentation entitled "Why Should Patients Be Delayed?" at the 31st Annual International Nursing and Midwifery Conference which took place in RCSI on the 22nd and 23rd  February 2012.  


Liz's presentation summarised the findings of her organisational development project on Registered Nurse Facilitated Discharge from Day Care Facilities at St Vincent's University Hospital.
