As part of a module on professionalism, co-ordinated by Prof Celine Marmion, Associate Professor of Chemistry, RCSI with the assistance of the Student Services Office, the students were tasked with raising funds for the Irish Hospice Foundation.

16 students, divided into groups of 4, organised events in the RCSI campus in March 2016. These events, consisting of, a table quiz, a raffle, a memory cards display and a henna stand with a bake sale, proved to be very popular with other students.

On 8th April, they presented their fundraising initiatives to a member of the IHF team, after which they presented the cheque for the funds raised.
