RCSI Council Election to take place on 7 June 2018

26 March 2018

Under the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland Charter Amendment Act 2003, the Election of Council takes place every two years. The next election will be held on Thursday, 7 June 2018.

Under the leadership of the current Council, RCSI continues to play a strong healthcare leadership role, driving the reform of the surgical training programme as well as more active engagement with surgical health policy and health service issues. The newly elected Council members will play an important role in the leadership of the College.

All Fellows and Members, In Good Standing, will be eligible to vote. This status requires Fellows and Members to have paid the appropriate subscription by Tuesday, 1 May 2018. You may pay your subscription online at famp.rcsi.ie.

The election will be conducted using an online voting system. In April 2018, all eligible Fellows/Members will be issued with information on candidates who are putting themselves forward for election. They will also receive their username/password to access the Council Election site to cast their votes.
