Visiting US PA paramedic shares frontline experiences

Kevin Burns, a PA paramedic at the Yale-New Haven Hospital in Connecticut visited the PA class in June to share his experience of being a PA on the frontline in emergency medicine.

The session was also attended by a number of paramedics who were keen to hear about daily life as a paramedic from their US counterpart. Kevin is the latest guest lecturer to address the PA students. Previous guest speakers have included Professor Ruth Ballweg, international advocate for the Physician Associate profession and author of Physician Assistant: A Guide to Clinical Practice.
