Louise presented a review of the evidence to guide primary care practice for cervical radiculopathy. Her current PhD research is in the area of cervical radiculopathy and she is currently the principal investigator for the PACeR trial; a EuroSpine-funded Randomised Controlled Trial of Multimodal Physiotherapy for patients with Acute or Sub-acute Cervical Radiculopathy, in collaboration with clinical neurosurgical and physiotherapy colleagues in Beaumont Hospital (www.rcsi.ie/PACeRtrial). Her research is also aiming to identify biopsychosocial predictors of response to conservative management.
