Technology Transfer and Management of IP
Recently established, the Office of Research and
Technology Transfer, amongst its many functions, has two key objectives:

To provide high quality services to assist and support
the College's research staff in securing and managing research funding and
other contracts.

To promote the effective commercialisation of research
by protecting and exploiting IPR generated in the College.
Responsibilities

Dissemination of information on grants and grant
agencies.

Advise on grant regulations/guidelines.

Communications between RCSI and grant agencies.
-
Communication and public relations on research
within/without RCSI.
-
Identification of new funding opportunities. Optimising
policies on intellectual property.
-
Optimising policies on intellectual property.
-
Monitoring of grant expenditures.
-
Developing policies/documentation on research posts.
