The Platform bridges the Physical and Life Sciences interface and through partnership with Industry will enhance technology developments in BioPhotonics and Molecular Imaging. The Platform brings together all the major biophotonics and imaging research centres in Irish Universities, Medical Schools and Institutes of Technology in a single unique Research, Educational and Outreach Network. The Platform provides a national framework for the development, access and support of Imaging Technologies and Core Facilities in Molecular, Cellular,Intravital and Human Research Imaging. The Platform has its own specific Research Programmes building on the expertise of Principal Investigators.
