Certificate of Completion of Basic Surgical Training

From 1st September 2007, the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland will be the only Surgical College issuing the Certificate of Completion of Basic Surgical Training (CCBST). This is a now a mandatory requirement in order to proceed to Higher Surgical Training.

Applicants may be required to provide further documentation and also may have to take part in an individual CAPA process with a nominated consultants.
