RCSI MATTERS
On June 4, 1984, Nancy Reagan visited RCSI where she
unveiled a portrait of her late father, Dr Loyal Davis, who
was an Honorary Fellow of the College. Macebearer Terry
Slattery leads the way for Mrs Reagan and Professor Eoin
O'Malley, RCSI President.
Undergraduate Conferring Dinner, May 30, 1990.
In 1996, while he was President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela
was conferred with an Honorary Fellowship of RCSI by Professor
Thomas Hennessy, President of RCSI.
Presentation of the Association of Graduates Trophy to 1998
winning team captain Paul O'Grady.
US President Bill Clinton visited the College in 1998. He is pictured signing
the guestbook as Professor Barry O'Donnell, RCSI President, looks on.
RCSI's new School of Physiotherapy opened its doors in
October 1999 with 20 students from Ireland and overseas
commencing the degree programme. They are pictured on the
first day of classes with Professor Marie Guidon, Head of School
