RCSI MATTERS
CLASS OF 1994
Mark Butterfield moved to Santa Barbara, California
several years ago from Boston, where he had been since
leaving Ireland in 1995. Returning to his early passion for
nutrition, wellness and prevention, he practises Functional
(`Root Cause') Medicine an approach that addresses the
underlying causes of chronic symptoms and disease labels,
thus tending to reverse them, rather than the symptoms
themselves. He also runs several nutraceutical (natural health
product) distribution businesses with international reach.
Mark would love to be in touch with former classmates
and friends from surrounding years in RCSI. He asks
friends anywhere to say hello on Facebook (facebook.com/
