RCSI AND BLACKROCK CLINIC CELEBRATE PARTNERSHIP IN CLINICAL EDUCATION

CAN WORLD HUNGER BE ENDED BY 2030?
Tom Arnold, Director General of the Institute
of International and European Affairs, and
former Chief Executive of Concern Worldwide,
gave an inspiring lecture entitled `Can World
Hunger be ended by 2030?' to leading medical
professionals from the north east of Ireland at
the 23rd RCSI Leonard Abrahamson Memorial
Lecture in the Drogheda Clinical Education
Centre in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in
October 2014. The lecture explored how RCSI
has a key role to play in educating healthcare
professionals who can tackle health delivery
and societal problems globally. Tom is pictured
