Centre for Clinical Research and Development
In 2006 the President of the RCSI set up the Surgical Research and Development Committee with a view to developing a strong collaborative research programme in Surgery.
The main objectives are;

To form collaborative research networks across the various surgical specialities and across all the departments of surgery nationally and on an all-Ireland basis.

Offer Support Services to assist surgeons, physicians and other clinicans in the conduct of clinical research.
