Research Engineer/ Scientist in Advanced Biomaterials for Nerve Repair - Immediate Start

The TERG and AMBER centre at RCSI currently have a 12 month position (with an option on extension) available for an experienced scientist/ engineer.

Research will focus on the fabrication, characterisation and commercial & clinical translation of a natural polymer-based conduit with applications in peripheral nerve repair. The project will be carried out in partnership with a leading international multinational corporation (MNC) in the regenerative medicine field. Developing Innovative Injectable Collagen-Bioceramic Composites for Medical Devices

Fully funded PhD available with Dr. Ciara Murphy, StAR Research Lecturer, TERG PI and StAR Research Lecturer in the Dept. of Anatomy, RCSI.

Kearney Lab - Postdoctoral Researcher /Research Assistant (Maternity Cover) 

A postdoctoral position/research assistant position (maternity cover) is currently available with Dr. Cathal Kearney in the Tissue Engineering Research Group. The project will focus on the assessment of the matrix and factors produced by iPSC-derived fibroblasts and of a biomaterial scaffold developed from them. This work is being undertaken in collaboration with a lab in Tufts University (Boston, USA) and opportunities to undergo specialised training in that lab will be actively explored.
