School of Postgraduate Studies
The School of Postgraduate Studies is the conduit for 4th level education at RCSI. The School oversees higher degrees (PhD, MD, MCh and MSc) by research as well as taught Masters programmes, postdoctoral training and workshops for supervisors and thesis examiners.
We strive to ensure that all these activities are carried out to the highest standards and that appropriate codes of practice are followed. The School of Postgraduate Studies assists postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers to become fully incorporated into life at RCSI and that they are afforded an optimum environment for personal, scholarly and career development. Please read our School strategy here.
The School aims to enhance the quality of all aspects of the postgraduate and postdoctoral experience, both academic and social. We are delighted to work with the Postgraduate Students Union, which promotes peer interaction through organised activities and meetings.
Many specific questions about postgraduate and postdoctoral training are answered in the documents and information on our web pages. If you have any further questions not answered there please we would be delighted to hear from you at postgraduateschool@rcsi.ie
