Dr Declan Patton

As Ireland's only exclusive postgraduate nursing and midwifery school, we are dedicated to developing the practice, educational and research capabilities of ambitious nurses and midwives.

As a School our aim is to engage in even more progressive types of healthcare research, placing the School and its students at the cutting edge of improvements in how nurses, midwives and other healthcare workers deliver better outcomes for patients and their families.

We also aim to establish ourselves as a School that wants to know more about how families can engage with caring for relatives, and how families can be more involved in healthcare delivery.

As a research student at the RCSI School of Nursing & Midwifery,  you will benefit from the close working and helping relationship with your supervisors, with the aim of you completing your studies in a timely manner and delivering a final research product that will have a high impact on healthcare.
