Research Ethics
The aim of the RCSI Research Ethics Committee (REC) is to ensure the highest sta
ndards of conduct in our research and to support staff in pursuing this goal.
The REC considers ethical issues related to research and research-related activities brought to its attention by the academic schools, researchers, staff and the wider College community. The REC also acts in an educational and advisory role regarding ethical aspects of research in order to promote best practice in research conducted throughout the RCSI.
The REC comprises both staff and independent lay members and meets on a bi-monthly basis.
If you would like to contact the RCSI REC please contact the Convenor, Dr Niamh Clarke on 01 402 2205 or recadmin@rcsi.ie.
For further information on the RCSI REC please visit our website at www.rcsiethics.info
